A former Minister of Aviation, Mr Femi Fani-Kayode, has refused to died but rejoined the All Progressives Congress (APC), a party he had in 2019, said he rather die than join.
In a series of tweets on Sunday, December 15, 2019 Fani-Kayode insisted he remains a staunch member of the opposition party and described the report of his defection to APC as “false and insulting,” adding that it was nothing but fake news.
“I am committed to opposing the APC and those that are in their ranks for the rest of my natural life and I will never join them no matter what!,” Fani-Kayode said.
But today 16 September, 2021 the Minister of Aviation during the President Olusegun Obasanjo government, Mr Femi Fani-Kayode, joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
He was presented to President Muhammadu Buhari by the Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the APC, and governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni on Thursday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
