Ex-el-Rufai’s Aide Dumps APC For PDP

Another member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Southern part of Kaduna State.

This is coming just few days after Manasseh Instifanus dumb the party for the APC.

The former Senior Special Assistant Political, office of the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Mr Wilson Iliya Yangye has resigned his membership of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Yangye who defected from the APC to the main opposition political party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), announced his defection through a post on his Facebook page.

Mr Wilson Iliya Yangye joined the APC in 2018 and contested to represent Jama’a Constituency at the State House of Assembly in the 2019 general elections but lost to the incumbent member with a narrow margin.

Shortly after the 2019 general elections, Yangye was appointed the Senior Special Assistant Political office of the Deputy Governor until his resignation to join the PDP based on a personal grounds.

Elanza News reports that Mr. Yangye has been a dedicated APC member, who has contributed a lot to the victory of the APC in Jemaa Local Government Area during the last Local Government elections which led to the breaking of the jinx of the PDP’s rule in the local government area after 22 years.
