The Nasarawa State Government has announced the appointment of Dr. Dominic Bako, as the Director General of the state’s Bureau for Public Procurement.

Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule made the announcement while kickstarting the monthly State Executive Council meeting, at the Government House, on Thursday.

The Governor, who expressed delight that the administration was able to fulfil its commitment to the public, particularly development partners, on establishing the bureau, commended the prompt action taken leading to the appointment.

He disclosed further that Dr. Bako emerged after undergoing a process of interview, whereby he emerged as the suitable candidate.

Dr. Bako was before his appointment Special Adviser to the Governor on Finance. He was variously Head of the State Civil Service and Commissioner of Finance.
