el-Rufai’s Former Protocol, School Owner Where Buhari’s Grand Children Attend, Killed By Bandits


A former protocol officer in the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) when Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir el-Rufai was Minister, Sagir Hamidu has been killed by bandits alone the Kaduna – Abuja express way. 

According to the decease brother, Sirajo Hamidu, Sagir was killed on Sunday afternoon.

The late Sagir Hamidu was an All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial aspirant in Zamfara State in the 2019 general elections.

Even though his venturing into politics nearly affected his school business located in Asokoro, Abuja, it was the facility the grand children of President Muhammadu Buhari were learning.

Narrating how his brother was killed by the bandits, Sirajo said his brother’s police orderly was abducted by the bandits while the driver escaped.

Elanza News saw the unconfirmed videos after the bandits killed and abducted travellers along the Kaduna -Abuja high way.

Sagir was traveling to Abuja on Sunday when the bandits laid ambush on them.

He was a former FCT Director of Protocol and served under el-Rufai as FCT minister. Sagir retired into school business in Abuja, Kaduna and Zamfara State and was also eying the Zamfara gubernatorial contest in 2023.
