Ekiti: Ahead Of Primary, PDP Secretariat Under Lock And Key

 

Ahead tomorrow’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary election in Ekiti state, the party secretariat has been put under lock and key. 

 

Elanza News gathered that as at about 5pm in the evening, the office was under lock and key with no sign of party officials.

Our correspondent who visit the state party headquarters observed that it was deserted but the reason couldn’t be ascertained as there was nobody to speak about the development.

Meanwhile, Journalists were chased out of Senator Biodun Olujimi’s hotel when they approached her for interview with.

As the Journalists were making efforts aimed at interviewing her, one of her aides came out ferocious and chased all the journalists.

“Madam said she will not talk to the press,” the aide said but after a heated argument that lasted for about 10 to 15 minutes,  Olujimi came out and calm them down but said “I don’t have anything to do with journalists”.

Efforts made to locate party official was abortive as there whereabouts was unknown.

However, reports has it that Senator Olujimi has been at a ‘loggerhead’ with the former Governor of the state, Ayodele Fayose as to who will clench the ticket of the party between her and his candidate.
