Easter: S’Kaduna APC Senatorial Aspirant Urges Christians To Pray For Peace In Nigeria

One of the leading Southern Kaduna Senatorial aspirant, under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Nasara Rabo has called on the Christians faithfuls to use the Easter period to intensify prayers for the restoration of peace and security in the country.

He said there is need for peace to return in the country to save Nigeria from total collapse.

Rabo, who is the Executive Chairman of Kagarko Local Governnment Area, stated this in a statement he made available to newsmen over the weekend in Kaduna.

He said there was need for Christians faitfuls to intensify prayers in support of governments’ efforts to rid the country of its current security threats.

“We equally need to extend love to our neighbours and embrace one another irrespective of our religious and ethnic divide, just as Jesus Christ showed us when he died on the cross for our sins,’’ he said.

The Senatorial hopeful was optimistic that no matter how troubling the future currently appeared, the resurrection power of Christ would turn around the fortunes of the country.

“I call for deeper reflections over the affairs of the nation,” Rabo said.

“Let us pray as patriots. Importantly, let us invoke the resurrection powers of the risen Christ to intervene in the affairs of this nation and for our leaders with milk of human kindness and deep insight to lead Nigeria on the social, economic and political revival for the nation’s unity,” he added.
