Presidential Task Force (PTF) on Covid-19 says it will relax the ban on interstate travel in three weeks time if the Aviation Sector are done with preparations to kick start flight operations.

PTF Coordinator Dr Sani Aliyu disclosed this while Fielding questions on the NTA network news on Monday.

According to Aliyu there are no contracdictions between ban on interstate travel and the commencement of flight operations on June 21. He said the PTF thought it wise to give the Aviation Industries 3 weeks to prepare for flight operations and if by 21st June they indicate that flight operations can start, then Interstate travel ban will be relaxed.
