A Covid-19 case has been confirmed in Zaria, Kaduna state, Elanza News has gathered.
He is a professor with the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria.
He tested positive for the Coronavirus pandemic after sneaking into Zaria from Lagos two days ago.
Elanza News gathered that the professor who lives in his Area C home, has been moved to the isolation centre in Kaduna.
According to our source who don’t want his name mention, the professor has some travel records to Lagos.
“The professor has a travel history. He traveled from Lagos to Zaria on 20th April, 2020,” the source said.
“Dear colleagues, COVID-19 confirmed case in Zaria. Confirmed patient, a professor is at home in Area C and has been moved this morning to Kaduna isolation centre. He needs our prayers. Please Stay Safe, Stay Home.
It is confirmed. The man left Lagos day before yesterday,” the source added.
Many are surprised how the professor found his way to Zaria from Lagos despite the lockdown policy of the federal government and that of Kaduna state.
