In his bid to support Kaduna journalists covering the Coronavirus crisis, the Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Uba Sani, has donated 20 bags of rice to the state Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).

The lawmaker, who commended journalists across Nigeria for the commitment and the risk they have been taking in the daily coverage of the Coronavirus since its outbreak, said there is the need for leaders and privileged individuals to support the media practitioners.

In a chat with journalists shortly after handing over the bags of rice to the Council, Sen Uba Sani urged journalists to give accurate and unbiased information about the Coronavirus in Kaduna State and Nigeria at large.

“The citizens need to be informed about the Coronavirus pandemic and all the preventive measures to contain community transmission in the State .

“But while discharging your duties, please ensure that you maintain social distancing, use face mask and all safety measures because journalists are not immune against Coronavirus,” the Senator added.
