The PDP 2023 governorship candidate in Lagos State, Dr Abdul-Azeez Adediran (JANDOR) has felicitated with all Christians in Lagos on the occasion of Christmas and new year celebrations.

Adediran made this known in a Christmas message in Lagos on Sunday.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Federal Government declared Dec. 25 and Dec. 26 as public holidays in commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ.

Adediran urged the people of Lagos to reflect on the basic tenets of Christianity which harkened on love, kindness, peace, and compassion toward one another as they celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ.

He stated that the year had been a challenging one for all residents of the state most especially.

Jandor, however, said he was confident that their spirit of resilience and determination would see everyone through the difficult times.

“I want the people to use the occasion of the season to reflect on the state of Lagos state and stay hopeful about the changes they want to see in the coming years.

“Christmas is a celebration of hope of a breath of fresh air. It is a season of reassurance that light will triumph over darkness no matter how long it takes.

“I wish all the good people of our beloved state their hearts’ desires during this season and beyond. Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year,” he said
