President Muhammadu Buhari alongside his Niger Republic counterpart Muhammad Bazoum, former President Goodluck Jonathan and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar buried their differences on Friday and celebrated the wedding ceremony of the president son, Yusuf, in Bichi Local Government Area of Kano State.
Also at the wedding were the vice president, Yemi Osibanjo, and former vice President Atiku Abubakar and many States governors, ministers and federal lawmakers, including the senate President Ahmed Lawan.
The wedding solemnization was performed at the Emir’s of Bichi palace and presided over by the Minister of Communication and and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, while the dignitaries watched.
Kano based business mogul, Aminu Dantata, was the bride’s trustee while Mamman Daura, served as groom’s trustee.
Mr Pantami announced a N500,000 as bride’s price. Following that the groom’s and bride’s trustee agreed to give out their son’s and Daughter’s to marriage.
Governors at the event were Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State, Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State and Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State, Bala Muhammad of Bauchi State, Mai-Mala Buni of Yobe State, and Babagana Zulum of Borno state.
Also, governors at the event were governor Muhammad Badaru of Jigawa state, Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, Abubakar Bello of Niger State, Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, among others.
The president arrived and departed the Bichi town via a chopper from Kano.
