The Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed (Kauran Bauchi) Thursday commissioned a 7.4 kilometre township roads in Michika Local Government Area of Adamawa State executed by Governor Ahmadu Fintiri.
Governor Bala said his visit to Adamawa State was to honour the invitation of his counterpart and to encourage him do more for the State.
A statement issued by the governor’s New Media aide, Lawal Muazu, the Bauchi governor said with the achievements of Governor Fintiri on road constructions, construction of bridge in Yola town in less than two years despite crisis in the global economy, will benefit the communities adding that Fintiri deserve commendation.
Bala then commended Fintiri for the execution of urban renewal projects in Yola and called on him to do more.
“Fintiri is an honest man known for good mission towards delivering his campaign promises for greater Adamawa State,” Bala said.
Earlier, Governor Umar Ahmed Fintiri of Adamawa State said the construction of the 7.4 kilometre township roads in Minchika will address infrastructural deficit.
He said they are doing alot in urban renewal programme, rural development and social services.
He said in less than two years, his administration has come up with policies and programmes geared towards the welfare and well-being of people of Adamawa State.
Fintiri said in line with his 11 point agenda, his administration has achieved a lot especially prudent management of resources and appreciated Governor Bala Mohammed for honouring his invitation.
Governor Bala was accompanied to Yola by the Bauchi State PDP Chairman, Alhaji Hamza Koshe Akuyam, two members of the Bauchi State House of Assembly among others.
