Army Seeks Collaboration With FRSC On Security

The Nigerian Army, lead by the Commanding officer 6 Brigade, Jalingo, Taraba state, Brigadier General H.I Mabeokwu, paid a courtesy call to the Sector Commander, RS3.3 Taraba state sector command, Corps Commander Selina L. Williams at the state capital in Jalingo.

The event who took place at the FRSC Command on Monday in Jalingo, Gen. Mabeokwu solicited for a continuous cooperation between security agencies and critical stakeholders with a view to consolidate on the gains made in improving the security situation in Taraba state.

According to the General, he openly appreciated the FRSC for remaining steadfast and connected to its Corps’ stating that

“the mandate in its rigid form, hence, the sustained success story over the years which has revolves around national security and I wished other security outfits will copy the Corps to reduce unproductive rivalry that has further complicated the security situation in the state and the nation at large”.

Responding, the Sector Commander congratulated him on his appointment, commiserated with the Nigerian Army over the demise of Late Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru and 10 others who recently loss their lives and affirmed FRSC’s commitment in achieving it’s operational mandate amidst security Challenges among others.

In there different remarks, The FRCS Public Education Officer ARC OKODUWA P.O, appreciate the courtesy visit, and assured the public that the FRSC will work in conjunction with the Army to improve security in the state.
