A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Kaduna State, Comrd. Cecilia Musa, on Sunday charged aspirants in Jema’a local government area to shun Politics of calumny and imbibe integrity.
Cecilia gave the charge in her official resident in Kaduna when one of the leading aspirant, Bar. Ezekiel Dyagas paid a courtesy visit soliciting for her blessings and support.
She said there was the need for aspirants to play politics devoid of attacking one another’s personality, appealing for campaigns that would ensure success of the party in the next coming Local Government elections across the 23 LG.
According to her issues of politics of calumny needed to be taking with every seriousness, saying aspirants will have to come back and work for the success of the party irrespective of who emerges winner at the end of their Primaries.
” Aspirants should not see elections as war, but rather come together to support whoever emerges winner.
“At the end of the political process, we expect that both parties should come together and the winner carries everybody along and leaders that contested the election must know that it was a political process known by law and whoever wins, we agree that God gave him that position,” Cecilia said.
Adding,” We’re determine to change the political narrative in Jema’a local government, adding we must vote for credible candidates that will entrench democratic values upon the people he governs.” She concluded.
