Hon. Isa Ashiru, the Peoples Democratic Party candidate in the 2019 election, has donated the sum of N500,000 to some victims to the Southern Kaduna attacks, who are at an IDP camp in Mariri in Lere Local Government Area of the State.
Ambassador Sule Buba, his campaign Director General was the leader of the delegation that represented Ashiru, presented the cash donation to the Internally Displaced Persons.
Buba, who spoke on behalf of governorship candidate, said the Ashiru sympathize with them, he feels their pain and understands their challenges. He said he is deeply touched by the incessant strife occurring in the State, especially in Southern Kaduna, where innocent lives and properties are perpetually lost.
The Director General, said the money is a token of his support towards alleviating their situation and bring succour to them.
He called on government to stop the blame game, be unbiased and live up to its cardinal responsibility of protecting life and property of the people, which is the primary purpose of government.
In the same vein, he called on the people to eschew bitterness, shun violence and learn to live together in peace for the progress and development of the State .
Ardo Ruguni Pate, who received the donation expressed their gratitude to Hon. Isa Ashiru for the act of Kindness.
He said this shows that Ashiru is a man that is sympathetic to the plight of others and is ready to come to their aid at their time of need.
Amongst the members of the delegation, were Deputy Director General, Comrade Danjuma Sarki, Hon. Ben Bako, Alhaji Tijjani Musa as well as Hon. Aisha Ibrahim.
It you recall Ashiru recently visited and donated the same amount to the Mercy Internally Displaced Persons Camp, Zonkwa in Zangon Kataf LGA.
