The Super Eagles of Nigeria, Tuesday in Garoua, Cameroun defeated favourites Egypt 1-0 in the AFCON group D opening match.
The victory was made sweeter as it was an interim indigenous coach, Augustine Eguavoen, who led the team to victory against all expectations.
In a swift press statement released by Nigeria and Africa’s leading properties company, Adron Homes and Properties, it describes the victory as a vindication of the resilience, resourcefulness and hardwork of the average Nigerian.

It would be recalled that the company recently held another edition of its annual Adron Games in Abeokuta, Ogun State, and with over 3,000 amateur and elite athletes participating in the games that was supritended by other Adron ambassadors like former track queen and former Super Eagles star Daniel Amokachi.
