“Action Gov Do Something,” Reactions  Trail Kaduna Residents Demand For Condom Subsidy 

Reactions have continued to trail Elanza News report that Kaduna residents are decrying price hike on Condom and now demanding for subsidy on the product.  
Some of the people who reacted to the story has called on Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir el-Rufai, a man they described as “action governor,” to intervene over the matter.
It was reported that condom users in Kaduna have expressed displeasure over the increased prices.
They say that such an increment will increase the spread of Human Immune Deficiency Syndrome (HIV) and other transmitted diseases especially among the youths.
Security ravaged Kaduna condom users accused the patent medicine sellers of increasing  the price of condom known to be the core preventive measure of HIV, pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.

Even though National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) and the Kaduna State government are yet to react to the cries of their citizens, some took to their social media platforms and expressed their views over the story.
Reacting, Chief Chris Geoman said: Oya….. action governor do something..😅😅
On his part, Joe Jr, said: Even under the kidnapping situation and all the hardship una dey for that town?…. 🚶🏼‍♂️🚶🏼‍♂️ I come in peace o.
He said further: “I tire na,😁 them no decry for high cost of food, or accommodation but decry for high cost of condom, Abi El-Rufai declared compulsory sit at home with enough relief packages ne? Cos I can’t imagine o.”
Another WhatsApp user, Certified Bush Doctor, said: “What do you expect when El Rufai has declared Fridays half working day? Let them use nylon bags now,” he added.

Both Comrade Hassan Dialo and Sani Baba released funny emojis on the story.

For Faith Ina, Kaduna residents did not protest the high rate of insecurity and cost of living instead are now concern about high cost of condom.
“Kaduna residents no protest for the high rate of insecurity and cost of living nah condom be their problem, nawa oooo,” she said.
