The Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Shika, Zaria is taken over by covid-19 patients. This is made known by the the Salanken Zazzau and Chairman of Traditional Leaders on Health, Alh. (Dr) Abdulkadir Bello-Salanke in a meeting organized by the council to enlighten residents on the dangers of the disease on Thursday, 4th June, 2020. That the covid-19 is raising in the area.

Bello-Salanke appeals to the residents in the Emirate to observe all the protocol laid down on the prevention of the covid-19.

Bello-Salanke commended the state government for collaborating with ABUTH to provide a 20-bed facility for the COVID-19 patients

Earlier, Deputy Director of Kaduna State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Hamza Ikara, said COVID-19 had spread to nine local government areas of the state.

He identified the affected local government areas as Igabi, Chikun, Kaduna North, Kaduna South, Zaria, Sabon Gari, Soba, Giwa and Makarfi.
