Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has expressed his desire for his team to be 10 points clear of their Premier League title rivals.
Guardiola made this remark during his press conference on Friday, ahead of their match against Nottingham Forest.
Should City secure a victory in Saturday’s early kick-off at the City Ground, they will ascend to the top of the table.
Currently, City sits in second place, two points behind leaders Arsenal and just one point ahead of third-placed Aston Villa.
“I’d prefer to be 10 points clear of everyone, but it is what it is. Arsenal are doing really well, but we are still in the mix. It’s only the end of December. In the Champions League, we are competing well, and in the Premier League, we are also in contention. The Carabao Cup semi-finals are coming up, and we’ll start the FA Cup soon,” Guardiola stated.
