FG, State, and Local Governments Share N2.094 Trillion Revenue for October

The Federation Accounts Allocation Committee (FAAC) has approved the disbursement of N2.094 trillion in revenue, generated in October 2025, to the federal, state, and local governments across the federation.

The total distributable revenue of N2.094 trillion was comprised of:

· N1.376 trillion in distributable statutory revenue.
· N670.303 billion from Value Added Tax (VAT).
· N47.870 billion from the Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL) for the month.

According to a communiqué issued by the FAAC, a total gross revenue of N2.934 trillion was available in October 2025. From this, N115.278 billion was deducted for the cost of revenue collection, while a further N724.603 billion was allocated for transfers, interventions, refunds, and savings.

The communiqué detailed that the gross statutory revenue for October was N2.164 trillion, which was N36.832 billion higher than the N2.128 trillion received in September 2025. Conversely, the gross VAT revenue available was N719.827 billion, representing a decrease of N152.803 billion from the N872.630 billion available in the previous month.

Breakdown of Allocations from the N2.094 Trillion:

From the total distributable revenue:

· The Federal Government received N758.405 billion.
· The State Governments received a total of N689.120 billion.
· Local Government Areas received N505.803 billion.
· A sum of N141.359 billion (representing 13% of mineral revenue) was shared among the oil-producing states as derivation revenue.

· Federal Government: N650.680 billion
· State Governments: N330.033 billion
· Local Government Areas: N254.442 billion
· Derivation (13% Mineral Revenue): N141.359 billion
· From the N670.303 billion VAT Revenue:
· Federal Government: N100.545 billion
· State Governments: N335.152 billion
· Local Government Areas: N234.606 billion
· From the N47.870 billion Electronic Money Transfer Levy:
· Federal Government: N7.180 billion
· State Governments: N23.935 billion
· Local Government Areas: N16.755 billion
