A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State, Apostle Chuks Alozie, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda on his recent appointment as the National Chairman of the ruling party.

In a statement made available to journalists, Apostle Alozie described the emergence of Prof Nentawe as a “divine orchestration”, stating that the development was supernaturally designed rather than a mere product of human effort.

He noted the historical significance of the appointment, pointing out that Prof Nentawe is only the second person from Plateau State to head a ruling political party in Nigeria, following in the footsteps of the late Chief Solomon Lar.

Apostle Alozie highlighted what he called a “trajectory of victory and glory” in Prof Nentawe’s political journey — from serving as the Honourable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction to now becoming the APC’s National Chairman.

He further noted that Prof Nentawe is the first Ngas man to make such a leap from a ministerial position to the apex of party leadership, describing it as a milestone of immense cultural and political significance.

In his message, the Abia APC stalwart prayed for continued success for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and expressed hope that the APC would gain renewed momentum and prosperity under Prof Nentawe’s leadership.

“I am confident that with his wealth of experience, the APC will be more united, stabilised, and progressive,” Apostle Alozie stated.

He also prayed for divine grace, favour and protection for the new chairman as he undertakes his national assignment.

Apostle Alozie urged Prof Nentawe to lead with magnanimity and a sense of inclusion. He called for a renewed focus on internal democracy, capacity building, grassroots mobilisation, peacebuilding and the reorientation of party members.

He concluded by appealing to all APC members across the country, as well as Nigerians at large, to support the new party leadership in the interest of national unity and development.
