The governors, after a meeting in Abuja on Thursday, had in a communique issued backed President Bola Tinubu’s controversial Tax Reform Bills.

In a statement issued by its National President, Ambassador Lawal Hussein Taiye said, “The consent of the 36 governors agreeing on the tax reform bills is a good sign that those in authority are moving in the same direction to salvage the country for better.”

Hussein, who is also the National Coordinator of Tinubu Mukeso Group believed that the tax reform bills represents a progressive and visionary step in reshaping Nigeria’s economic and social landscape.
