During the presentation event in Yola on Saturday, Obi emphasized that the donation aims to enhance students’ proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT). “In today’s world, technology is crucial, and it is essential for our children to be equipped with the necessary technological skills to excel,” he stated.

Obi highlighted that these computers would provide students with foundational skills essential for their academic growth.

Rev. Fr. Moses Maaji, the college’s Principal, expressed gratitude for Obi’s contribution and assured that the computers would be used effectively for the benefit of the students.

Bishop Stephen Mamza, Catholic Bishop of Yola Diocese, also praised Obi for his donation, recognizing it as a significant contribution to educational development in the country. He emphasized that Obi’s visit and gesture are not politically motivated but rather a commitment to empowering young people for future success. He noted that the computers will play a vital role in facilitating the learning process as intended.
