Residents in Southern Kaduna are celebrating as contractors have started work on the Tsoriyang bridge, which connects the Madauchi-Madakiya-Kafanchan road.
This development comes after Governor Uba Sani took swift action upon reading Elanza News reports of the bridge’s collapse.
Governor Uba Sani, in consultation with political associates, has also ordered the construction of a 28-kilometer road from Madauchi to Madakiya, ultimately leading to Kafanchan, the hub of Southern Kaduna.
In response to the collapse of the Tsoriyang bridge, Governor Uba Sani directed the Kaduna State Roads Agency (KADRA) to immediately construct an alternative route and bridge, ensuring minimal disruption to the affected communities.
Additionally, the Governor has instructed the assessment of the entire 28-kilometer road that connects numerous communities across three Local Governments in Southern Kaduna and ordered for it construction.
Contractors have been mobilized to the site, with residents expressing their gratitude to Governor Uba Sani for his prompt action.
Photos from the location depict the deployment of construction equipment, signifying the commencement of the project.
“We are delighted with the Governor for taking such swift and decisive action,” shared Kazah Musa, a resident of the area, in an interview with Elanza News.
Elanza News reports that the people of the region are immensely grateful to Governor Uba Sani for his proactive approach.
