Philanthropist Equips 250 Youths With POS Machines In Adamawa

A Philanthropist and a business tycoon Hamisu Idris Medugu has empowered the Youth of Adamawa State with a Point of Sale (POS) Machine and start-up capital to engage in business to be financially self-reliant.

The Youths who are over two hundred and fifty drawn from the five Local Government areas representing Adamawa Northern Senatorial District received the gesture last weekend in Mubi.

The business magnet has through his Hamisu Idris Medugu foundation selected a few individuals from Mubi North, Mubi South, Michika, Madagali, and Maiha Local Government areas to address the challenges of the economic downturns Nigeria is currently going through.

Idris called on the beneficiaries to be prudent and diligent in their endeavors to grow well in the business because the essence is to make sure they overcome the scourge of poverty.

Idris while presenting the POS machine to the beneficiaries through Jibrilla Bala who represented him emphasized the need for hard work as the only remedy in fighting poverty.

He said the Country is going through a serious economic crisis and that it will only take the intervention of God and people with small mediums entrepreneur mindsets can be able to rescue the country.

Idris however warned them never to sell the POS machine but to make use of the opportunity provided to brighten their future and also better the lives of others, especially the less privileged in the society.

The beneficiaries appreciated Idris who through his foundation has transformed them into better people in society and assured him of working hard to stand on their own financially.
