JAMB registers 11,902 candidates in Jigawa

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says it has registered 11,902 candidates for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination(UTME) in Jigawa State.

The Public Relations Officer of the board in the state, Mr Mukarram Bello, made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Dutse on Monday.

Bello explained that the UTME which commenced on Jan. 15 will end on Feb. 26 while Direct Entry registration will start from Feb. 28 to March 28.

He explained that the registration for both UTME and Direct Entry(DE) was being conducted in 12 approved Computer Based Test (CBT) centres across the state.

The PRO listed the centres as JAMB state office, Federal University Dutse, E- Learning Centre 1 and 2, CBT ICT, Binyamin Usman Polytechnic, and Future Map Foundation CBT Centre in Hadejia.

Others are, Jigawa State Collage of Education, Gumel Centre 1 and Centre 2, and Jigawa State Collage of Advanced and Remedial Studies (JICORAS), Babura, Jigawa State.

Institute of Information Technology, Kazaure, Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic, Kazaure and Sule Lamido University, Kafin Hausa are the other designated centres.

According to him, the board is doing everything possible to ensure that the exercise is hitch free. (NAN)
