The Biraidu Development Forum (BDF) has endorsed John Urah Ikani, the immediate past Campaign Director General of the Ododo/Joel campaign for Dekina local government, as the ideal candidate for the top position in Dekina.
According to a statement signed by Sani Onekutu, the group highlights Urah’s extensive experience, citing his role as the campaign director for Tinubu, Sen. Jibrin Isah Echocho, and Hon. Paul Harun in the February 2023 Presidential and National Assembly campaign.
The BDF emphasizes that Urah’s political expertise aligns with the community’s values, noting his consistent engagement with the people of Dekina district, Okura district, and Biraidu district.
They assert that Urah’s connection with the local populace positions him favorably to become the next Chairman of the local government.
Additionally, the BDF assures the governor that the collaboration between John Urah and Usman Ododo in Dekina will usher in rapid progress and a new era in Dekina politics.
Onekutu affirms to the governor and the people of Dekina that John Urah will lead the largest local government in line with his party’s agenda, pledging unwavering support for Governor Yahaya Bello’s ongoing progress in the state.
The group highlights Urah’s ability to secure victory at his own polling unit in the last election, a feat that many others failed to achieve, as a testament to his widespread acceptance among the local community.
