Centre Partners Kogi Community To Train, Empower Women, Donate Cash

The National Productivity Centre NPC, Abuja in collaboration with Omedo community, in Anyigba Kogi state as they trained and empowered women through donation of Grinding machines, Sowing machines and cash donations for small scale businesses.

The event which took place on Saturday in Anyigba supported unspecified numbers of women in the community who were trained on small and medium businesses among other empowerment programs.

According to the National Productivity Centre NPC, the need to engage women in empowerment and small scale businesses was to meet the current global demands and guarantee economic empowerment and social security.

The trained women were issued certificates of participation and cash donations to encourage small and medium enterprises in the area.

The National Productivity in conjunction with Asta Resources and Investment Limited organised the training in a community in Kogi state.
