APC Chieftain, Professor Kailani Muhammad emphasizes his commitment to collaborating with the National Assembly (NASS) to eliminate obstacles and ensure the inclusion of an enabling environment in our constitution, fostering a conducive atmosphere for engineers to perform optimally.

This pledge was made during his decoration as a professor by the British American University, Florida, USA, in Abuja yesterday.

He stated, “I am dedicated to advocating for legislative templates from the National Assembly to remove obstacles and establish an enabling environment in our constitution, creating a friendly atmosphere for engineers to excel.”

The professor sees this recognition from the institution as a challenge to contribute more robustly to the advancement of engineering, particularly in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, for the development of our nation.

The Director General of the Confederation of All Progressive Congress (APC) Support Groups attributed the challenges faced by Nigerian engineers to insufficient power generation, funding and investment constraints, lack of maintenance, fuel supply issues, and more.

” To address these challenges, he called on the federal government to invest in renewable energy, urging increased investments in sources like solar and wind to diversify the energy mix and provide sustainable alternatives.

In his keynote address, Prof. Muhammad Omolaja, President of the British American University, Florida, USA, expressed confidence in Prof. Kailani Abubakar Muhammad, stating, “I have no doubt that he stands out as a world-class professor among his colleagues worldwide.
