IGP Commission New Police Area Command Headquarters In Jigawa

The Inspector General of Police Alkali Baba Usman vows to continue improving police welfare and enabling working environment for effective policing promoting security,peace and stability in the country.

The IG stated this while speaking at the official commissioning of newly police force area command in Ringim local government of Jigawa state.
He noted that ,more of such facilities will continue to be provide for strenghen police work.

“We area committed in repositioning police force with provision of adequate modern working equipment, ,welfare and other facilities that will enhance the capacity of Nigerian police to tackle any insecurity challenge in the country ”

“We will also continue to fortified our manpower through regular recruitment of personal from all the 774 local government area of the federation and equally posted them back to their local government of origins for achieving the desire goals” Alkali declared

” The IG than charged the Ringing Community to take ownership of the new headquarters and join hands with police for protecting it and ensure effective utilization ”

Earlier in his welcome address the Jigawa state Commissioner of Police CP Emmanuel Efffiom Ekot thanks the IG for the visit and commissioning of the new area command which he described as a moral booster to state policemen.

The CP also promised for effective maintenance and utilization of the befitting headquatre to strengthen the security, peace and stability in the state

” Jigawa is the must peaceful state in Nigeria and with such edifice we will continue collaborating with other security sister agencies and general public to maintain the gain” CP declared

In his part the Jigawa state governor Alhaji Muhammad Badaru commended the effort of the IG for the construction of the new area command headquatre and repositioning of police force for more security of life and properties in the country.

The governor who was represented by by Secretary to the State Government Alh Abdulkadir Gani promised to continue supporting the police force for achieving sustainable security of lives and properties in the state and beyond.
