Carter Efe, the Nigerian content creator turned streamer, has lashed out at Shank, his colleague, over an alleged snub during a recent encounter.
In clips circulating online, Carter was seen attempting to greet Shank during a visit to a clothing store owned by Yhemolee, the socialite, in Lagos.
However, Shank appeared preoccupied with other activities in the store and did not immediately acknowledge him.
The duo later exchanged a brief greeting.
But Carter, as he left the store with his team, expressed anger over the interaction, hurling insults at Shanks in Pidgin English.
“I be big boy. Biggest streamer dey greet am, e dey form,” he said.
“I don clear am now. Me, I be the biggest streamer. E dey form big boy for me. Which level e get? E feel say na skit we dey shoot?”
Later in the day, during another livestream, Carter revisited the incident while speaking during a visit to rapper Blaqbonez.
“Shanks, I no dey fear anybody. I go burst him ACL. The boy loose guard me for Yhemolee’s side,” he said.
“E dey tell me, ‘I don’t want to see you, I don’t want to talk.’ Who you be wey you no wan follow me talk?.”
He also claimed that he played a role in Shanks’ early success.
“His first skit wey blow, na we gather do am. E no one day pull up to my skit. I don call am tire,” he said.
Shank, a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), started his career as a stand-up comedian during his undergraduate days before making his foray into skit-making.
He gained prominence on social media during the COVID-19 lockdown with his viral skits that often highlight relatable Nigerian experiences.
Shank has also garnered millions of followers on the major social media platforms. He recently also ventured into live streaming.
