The command’s spokesperson, SP Abimbola Adebisi, made the commendation in a post shared on her X handle @AbimbolaShotayo on Sunday.

She said the day provided an opportunity to recognise the invaluable contributions of women across different sectors of society.

Ms Adebisi noted that the command was particularly proud of the remarkable women serving within the police force, whose professionalism and commitments continued to strengthen policing efforts and improve service delivery across the state.

According to her, the female officers and civilian staff of the command have consistently demonstrated dedication and bravery in the discharge of their duties.

She said they often worked under challenging circumstances to ensure the safety and security of residents.

“Their unwavering commitment to duty remains a source of pride and inspiration,” the spokesperson said.

She stated that the police also appreciated the efforts of women in uniform and civilian roles whose contributions played a vital part in maintaining peace, security, and public safety throughout the state.

She encouraged them to continue demonstrating professionalism and commitment to service while contributing to the overall development of the command and the safety of communities across the state.
