In a harrowing incident that has shaken the community of Gidan Tama in Kwaturu Ward, Kachia Local Government, Hon. Daniel Samaila’s family became the latest victims of a series of kidnappings plaguing the region.

On a quiet evening, as the sun began to set, a group of armed kidnappers stormed the area, seizing five individuals from the Samaila household.

The attack was swift and brutal, leaving the family and neighbours in a state of shock.

Among those taken was Hon. Samaila’s younger brother, who valiantly attempted to confront the assailants in a bid to protect his family.

Tragically, he lost his life in the process, highlighting the escalating violence that has gripped the region.

The community has rallied in support of the Samaila family, expressing their grief and outrage over this senseless act of violence. Local leaders and residents have called for increased security measures and a more robust response from law enforcement to stem the tide of kidnappings that have become alarmingly frequent.

As the search for the abducted individuals continues, the loss of Hon. Daniel Samaila’s brother serves as a painful reminder of the dangers faced by many in the area. The family, now mourning their beloved member while grappling with the uncertainty of their loved ones’ fate, has become a poignant symbol of the broader challenges affecting countless families in the region.
