The House of Representatives member representing Ikole, Oye Ekiti Federal Constituency in Ekiti State and Chairman House Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Akin Rotimi said the Renewed Hope School for Children with Special Needs is designed to give them a sense of belongings, right from the early age in line with the tenets of the present administration under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He stated this on Saturday during the inspection of the projects in Imojo and Itapa Ekiti in Oye local government area of Ekiti State.

He maintained that aside making adequate provision for students at tertiary institutions to assess student loan through NELFUND, the children with special needs need to be nutured along that line , so that they can also be included inline with inclusive policy of the present administration.

The House of Representatives Spokesperson maintained that the playground constructed along with other structures will also provide avenue for interactions among them and the other children.

When completed, it will also serve as a learning ground and encourage children with special needs to acquire more knowledge and adequate attention towards leaving a meaningful life .

He urged the contractors to hasten up the job for early completion, as the intention is to complete and commission them for use during the third year anniversary of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
