Sanan Real Homes Limited in partnership with Ankpa Rebirt and Community Development Association(ARCODA ),has announced a comprehensive renovation of the Ankpa Zonal Hospital in Kogi State, alongside the construction of a new medical ward,as part of its corporate social responsibility to support State government.

The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the company, Alhaji Sanusi Abdul Sanusi, disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists in Abuja on Monday.

He said this intervention to also support the efforts of the state government in the health sector

He said the intervention was in honour of the late Muhammed Kabir, an indigene of Ojokwu in Ankpa Local Government Area, whose recent death had drawn attention to the poor state of healthcare facilities in the area.

According to Sanusi, the project reflects his commitment to community development and support for vulnerable populations.

He explained that the project would include the construction of a fully equipped medical ward, scheduled for completion and delivery on or before February 10, Insha Allah.

Sanusi added that the total renovation of the Ankpa Zonal Hospital was expected to be completed by March 30, Insha Allah, noting that funding for both projects had already commenced to ensure timely delivery.

The Ankpa Zonal Hospital has been abandoned for several years and is currently in a deplorable condition, making effective healthcare delivery difficult.

Residents of the area have repeatedly complained about the state of the facility, often travelling long distances to access basic medical services.

Sanusi said the intervention would help restore the hospital’s functionality, improve patient care and provide a better working environment for health personnel.

He stressed that private sector participation remained critical in complementing government efforts, particularly in underserved communities.

The project is expected to bring relief to thousands of residents who depend on the hospital for healthcare services.
