Obi Cubana, the Nigerian businessman, has been named the south-east director of the City Boy Movement (CBM).

The CBM, originally founded in 2022 as a youth-oriented support group for President Bola Tinubu’s election campaign, focuses on mobilising, educating, and empowering young Nigerians and women in alignment with the administration’s ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’.

Cubana’s appointment last week was confirmed on Monday during a strategic forum held by the movement.

Seyi, son of President Bola Tinubu, thanked Cubana for his consistent support for the current administration and acknowledged his significant influence among Nigerian youth.

“I want to first of all thank you for support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and to youths and young people in Nigeria, especially in the Southern region,” he said.

“On behalf of the City Boy Movement, we want to present you your appointment letter as the regional director of the South East for City Boy and on behalf of the Coty Boy Movement we say congratulations.”

He further reiterated the CBM’s dedication to fostering collaboration, leadership, and national unity in support of the president’s agenda.
