Bar. Sunday Marshall Katung has been declared the winner of the Kaduna-South Senatorial District election in Kaduna State.
The returning officer for Kaduna-South Senatorial district, Prof. Abdullahi Dalhatu from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria made the announcement on Monday saying Mr Katung scored the highest number of votes from the election.
The results give the PDP candidate, Mr Katung, a win over Engr. Mike Auta of the Labour Party.
Bar. Katung of the PDP having scored the highest number of votes was declared winner and returned elected with 138,246 votes while Engr Mike Auta trailed with 101,479 votes.
Meanwhile, the Labour Party agent, Mr. Isa Ciroma after rejected the result after, stressing that two of their party agents were killed and their was inadequacies in some word.
Also, the representative of the All Progressives Congress (APC) agent,Nuhu Saidu, said Comrd. Sanusi Maikudi did not asked him to signed.
