Two Years: DASH CMD Scores Gov Sule High

The Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital (DASH), Lafia in Nasarawa State, Dr. Hassan Ikrama, said the hospital has achieved a lot since Governor Abdullahi Sule, came on board two years ago.

Dr. Ikrama, who mentioned the achievements while addressing journalists yesterday said before now the hospital has one clinic and it was difficult to access facility but now it has 8 functioning clinics.

He explained that before there was more expenses than income in the hospital but now what the hospital is getting is more than what it is expending .
The CMD also informed that before the hospital lack infrastructures and equipments, man power but the hospital has what it takes to satisfy patients at the moment.

He also noted that the hospital has ten offices for 170 hospital’s staff before but now it have enough offices to accommodate all stafs.

He further informed that the hospital have the most best breast cancer testing center equipment when the governor came on board as part of effort to transform the hospital.

Dr. Ikrama also said the hospital has also build staff quarters that will accommodate staff in case of any emergency that may arise; adding that the hospital have enough equipment that will address many problem.

The medical Director however said that the hospital have mobile xray, 3 mobile hospital and 4 functioning ventilator which the hospital don’t have before.
